With a 1000 mL (quart) capacity, these jars are well suited to fruit preserves, sauces, and taller produce such as asparagus and carrots. Haul Wide Mouth Mason Jars are a great choice for distillers too. The  large 1L capacity and wide mouth design make them perfect for taking small samples or “cuts” during the distillation process, storing finished spirits, or even short-term aging. 

Manufactured from durable, clear, food-grade glass, each jar features a wide mouth opening to simplify filling, decanting, and cleaning. The smooth, logo-free surface allows for easy labelling with printed or adhesive tags, making batch identification and storage more efficient, as well as monitoring and blending ageing spirit.

Designed for both pressure canning and water bath processing, these jars deliver great sealing performance when used with the included screw-on lids. Their airtight seal helps maintain product freshness and flavour over extended storage periods.

Important food safety note: Always follow established, science-based preserving practices. Water bath processing should only be used for high-acid foods or products with verified or adjusted pH. Low-acid foods must be preserved using pressure canning to ensure safe, shelf-stable results.

Each 12 pack is supplied in a heavy-duty cardboard carton, suitable for long-term storage and light protection from UV exposure.
