Lunares is an installation and book project by artist Hyeree Ro, which emerged from an unexpected death she faced in the Summer of 2022. The book comprises essays by seven different writers, each reflecting on Ro’s performance work from the past seven years. Together, the book and installation form a constellation of meditations on the expansive nature of Ro’s practice and the ways in which interdependence blossoms. With the installation as a site for coming together, we welcomed visitors to engage in conversations about immigration, performance and family relations.
