Falling asleep is easy with someone you love, but sleeping through the night can be challenging. These sleeping positions and images are a meditation on the shared connection with a nighttime bedmate.
Drawn from personal experience with my partner, the positions are a journey to knowing what works best. Handshake, Sweet Spot, Criss-Cross and Tippy Toe represent space and balance, not only in bed but in the patterns of our lives. As I move forward in my creative journey, casting queer people of color empowers me to tell not only my story, but others’ as well.
