As part of a collaboration with conceptual jewelry designer Tanaporn Wongsa, Amanda Soon created these test films shot on Super 8 film. Wongsa’s ongoing project translates traditional Thai produce into knowledge, creating still life artifacts. It is a dedication to her parents honoring her heritage and showing how food practice has extended into her own; thus reclaiming the traditional knowledge her parents have passed down.
